Original Shimenawa New Year’s Workshop
Design your own modern shimenawa (traditional New Year’s rope wreath) using dried flowers and natural materials. Select each element to reflect your personal style and welcome the year with a one-of-a-kind piece.

About the Instructor
Takuya Nishigaki

After working as an Area Manager and Sales Manager, she has been involved in the total coordination of large-scale events. Currently, she serves as the Flower School Manager, overseeing the operation of the Professional School.

Lesson Day Schedule

Register at the Flower School Counter on the 2nd floor of the Nicolai Bergmann Flowers & Design Flagship Store (Minami Aoyama, Tokyo).

(Reception opens 30 minutes before the lesson starts.)

Collect your material list and choose your table. Enjoy complimentary coffee, tea, and a special dessert from NOMU CAFE.

A demonstration by the instructor (approximately 30 minutes).

Begin your arrangement at your own pace, receiving advice and support from the instructor.

The instructor will individually review your finished piece and provide comments.

Our staff will package your creation for you to take home. Once you receive your finished arrangement, you are free to depart.

Reservations are limited to one seat per person for the lesson. If you wish to attend with multiple people, please have each person make their own reservation.

Changes or cancellations cannot be accepted after 7 days prior to the scheduled lesson date. Please understand this in advance.
If you are absent on the day of the lesson, we will send your completed arrangement to the registered address. If you prefer to receive only the flowers, please contact us by the day before the lesson.

Lessons may be canceled due to reasons such as weather conditions or if the minimum number of participants is not met. Please understand this in advance.
