Parallel Style Arrangement Skill-Up Lesson
Building a Strong Foundation in Parallel Design
Lesson 2
Dynamic Rhythm and Layered Spatial Composition for Creating Depth
This is an intensive three-lesson skill-up program designed to help you steadily build confidence and technique in parallel-style arrangements. Ideal for those who want to improve their skills and create designs with greater assurance. Each lesson may also be taken individually, depending on your learning goals.
In Lesson 2, the focus is on techniques for adding depth by consciously shaping three-dimensional space.
Using impactful colors and materials such as anthuriums, you will learn how to intentionally create height differences and group flowers to form layered compositions. These methods add rhythm and depth to the vertical structure learned in Lesson 1, allowing you to move beyond flat arrangements and create more dynamic parallel designs.
You will also explore advanced techniques for controlling areas of openness and density within the composition, helping you develop confident and expressive design skills. This lesson can also be enjoyed as a standalone class, offering insight into the appeal of parallel-style arrangements.
