About the Lesson

This is an intensive preserved flower arrangement course designed to help you build your skills step by step. It is an ideal curriculum for those who want to improve further and create arrangements with confidence. Even if you join for a single session, you will gain a solid understanding of the basics of preserved flower arrangement.

Session 3
Refine your expressive skills for each individual flower and develop a sense for layered design created through subtle height differences, as you take on the challenge of producing a more highly finished piece.

Building on the skills mastered in Sessions 1 and 2, you will learn how to expand your range of expression—from a beautifully balanced round form to a more dynamic style with a playful sense of movement. This session focuses on mastering layering techniques that rely on delicate variations in flower height. The final arrangement will be finished in a stylish, modern palette of muted pink tones, making it a sophisticated piece that is also perfect as a special gift.

About the Instructor
Yuji Ishige

I approach each lesson with the hope of sharing the delicate beauty and dynamic appeal of Nicolai Bergmann’s designs with as many people as possible. In addition to offering attentive guidance for those who wish to improve while enjoying the process, I also carefully teach the professional techniques unique to a specialized flower school. I hope participants will discover the joy of engaging with flowers through free and creative expression.

Career:
After honing my skills and sensibility as a florist through large-scale event decorations and the creation of products for online shops, I currently serve as Store Manager of the Shinjuku store, where I am active across a wide range of fields.

Lesson Day Schedule

Register at the Flower School Counter on the 2nd floor of the Nicolai Bergmann Flowers & Design Flagship Store (Minami Aoyama, Tokyo).

(Reception opens 30 minutes before the lesson starts.)

Collect your material list and choose your table. Enjoy complimentary coffee, tea, and a special dessert from NOMU CAFE.

A demonstration by the instructor (approximately 30 minutes).

Begin your arrangement at your own pace, receiving advice and support from the instructor.

The instructor will individually review your finished piece and provide comments.

Our staff will package your creation for you to take home. Once you receive your finished arrangement, you are free to depart.

Reservations are limited to one seat per person for the lesson. If you wish to attend with multiple people, please have each person make their own reservation.

Cancellation Policy
Changes or cancellations cannot be accepted after 7 days prior to the scheduled lesson date. Please understand this in advance.
If you are absent on the day of the lesson, we will send your completed arrangement to the registered address. If you prefer to receive only the flowers, please contact us by the day before the lesson.
