Chrysanthemum Vase

Nicolai Bergmann have always had a deep fascination and respect for the traditional Japanese crafts which are often time consuming and labour intensive. In his own floral exhibitions, he has presented his floral art nexpressions using Artiayaki vases and has taken the opportunity to visit craftsmen and pottery kilns to have a first hand account of the craftsmen and its history.The beautiful white porcelain, which is one of the distinguished features of Arita porcelain, has fine irregularities on its surface to express chrysanthemum's threads petals and by creating a contrast with the golden stand that holds the vase, an elaborate one-of-a-kind design is born.
