Antique Hydrangea Basket Arrangement

About the Lesson

We’ll create an early-fall basket arrangement featuring beautiful hydrangeas that are slowly transitioning into autumn hues, combined with an abundance of seasonal flowers, foliage, and berries.

We’ll combine deep purple, burgundy, and green hydrangeas whose colors overlap to create autumnal tones with flowers that trace delicate lines and expressive berries to create a design that looks as if it were a snapshot of a natural landscape. While carefully observing the colors, textures, and forms of each floral material, you’ll learn how to achieve balance, create depth, and beautifully connect the various elements.

By layering Nikolai Bergman’s signature modern composition and rich colors into a basket with a soft, gentle impression, we’ll create an arrangement that is both natural and striking. We aim to create a piece brimming with seasonal charm, offering a different expression depending on the viewing angle.

Let’s enjoy the gradually deepening colors of the season together while working with floral materials unique to this time of year, when the lingering traces of summer overlap with the first hints of fall.

*Please note that floral materials are subject to change depending on market conditions and availability.

*The image is for illustrative purposes only. The actual design, vase, and quantity of floral materials used may vary.
