Introducing the “ORIGAMI” Flower Box!

To commemorate the 25th anniversary of Nicolai Bergmann’s original Flower Box, we are delighted to present the “ORIGAMI” Flower Box, created in collaboration with Danish design studio LAWA DESIGN. This limited-edition item became available at all Nicolai Bergmann Flowers & Design stores across Japan, as well as through our online shop, starting Tuesday, May 20, 2025.

Crafted from oak, a wood beloved in Scandinavian design, the box lid features a three-dimensional motif inspired by the petals of traditional Japanese origami. On the base, an anniversary logo is engraved in celebration of 25 years of the Flower Box.

The box design was created by LAWA DESIGN, a Danish studio founded by architects Eva Brzesk and Allen Shakir. With an architectural perspective and an experimental spirit, their work is defined by geometric sophistication, refined forms, and a thoughtful approach to sustainable materials.

The flower arrangements come in six variations of preserved flowers, each embodying its own unique palette and rhythm. The result is a harmonious fusion of Japanese aesthetics—rooted in a deep appreciation of nature—and the minimal, functional elegance of Scandinavian design. More than an arrangement, the “ORIGAMI” Flower Box is a refined art piece that brings subtle beauty and vibrancy to everyday spaces, from living rooms and entryways to workspaces.
